Create a form with Calculation fields using Acrobat 8 Professional

I was recently asked “Hey Tim, I used to use Acrobat 6 to create forms but I can’t seem to see how to create a form with that will allow me to multiply 2 fields.” Well here you go.

I could type in a long response here, but as they say a picture says a 1000 words, so here is a video of how to create a form with some calculation fields!

Good Luck

Once I saw the video all the lights came on. I remembered something about fields and properties and now I can see how it’s done. Thanks again for making it simple and direct.

I am looking for an option that will remove the 0.00 from the total line if there are no numbers in the other cells. Is there a way to turn off the display of that zero?

This is very helpful, but I am looking for the same thing Ron is. Is it possible to have a javacode that states if the field = 0 then display null else display the calculation required. Furthermore i noticed in Acrobat Pro 8.1 if i have a calculation field that relies on another calculation field it will not always update properly.
